Welcome to Sri Lanka
Negombo

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, where your private chauffeur-guide will meet you and assist with your transfer to Negombo. After checking into your hotel, take the rest of the day to relax after your flight. If your arrival is early enough, you can enjoy a gentle walk along Negombo Beach and watch the sunset. Village Life Around Sigiriya
Negombo → Sigiriya

After breakfast, begin your journey towards the Cultural Triangle. Stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage along the way before continuing to Dambulla Cave Temple, one of Sri Lanka's most impressive ancient cave complexes. In the evening, head into the countryside around Hiriwadunna for a more intimate experience of rural Sri Lankan life. Take a traditional boat ride across the village lake and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before continuing to your hotel in Sigiriya. Overnight Sigiriya.
Sigiriya & The Elephant Gathering
Sigiriya

Start the morning exploring Sigiriya Rock Fortress, the dramatic ancient citadel rising above the surrounding jungle. Climb through the historic gardens and Lion's Paw to discover the remains of the ancient fortress and enjoy panoramic views from the summit. Guests looking for an alternative hike can choose Pidurangala Rock instead. In the afternoon, head into Minneriya National Park on a jeep safari. Depending on the season and local conditions, the park can offer remarkable elephant sightings, including large gatherings around the reservoir (dependent on the time of year and animal movements). Overnight at Sigiriya.
Kandy: Sacred & Natural
Sigiriya → Kandy

Leave Sigiriya and travel towards Kandy, Sri Lanka's last royal capital. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of the country's most important Buddhist sites. Continue into Udawattakele Forest Reserve, a forested sanctuary overlooking Kandy that offers a completely different side of the city. Later, visit a traditional gem museum and batik workshop before exploring the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya. End the day with a vibrant Kandyan Cultural Dance Performance. Overnight at Kandy.
Into Tea Country
Kandy → Nuwara Eliya

Leave Kandy behind and climb into the cool, misty highlands also known as Little England. Stop at Ramboda Falls, one of the scenic waterfalls along the mountain route, before visiting a Ceylon Tea plantation where you can learn how Sri Lanka's famous tea is grown, harvested and processed. Continue to Nuwara Eliya and spend the afternoon exploring Victoria Park and Gregory Lake. Overnight at Nuwara Eliya
Horton Plains Adventure
Nuwara Eliya

Rise early for a trip to Horton Plains National Park, one of Sri Lanka's most spectacular highland landscapes. Follow the approximately 9 km circular trail, passing through montane grasslands and cloud forest towards World's End, where the landscape drops dramatically away beneath the viewpoint. After the trek, return to the hotel for a short rest before continuing towards Ella. Overnight at Ella.
Ella's Mountain Landscapes
Ella

Spend the morning exploring some of Ella's most iconic landscapes. Walk to the famous Nine Arches Bridge, surrounded by dense greenery and tea-country scenery. Continue to Little Adam's Peak for an easier hilltop hike with beautiful views across the valley. Later, explore the Demodara Loop, where the railway makes its famous loop through the mountain landscape. The evening is deliberately left relaxed so guests can enjoy Ella's cafés, viewpoints or simply unwind at the hotel. Overnight at Ella.
Deep Into Leopard Country
Ella → Yala

Start early to travel south towards Yala National Park for a full day safari, one of Sri Lanka's best-known wildlife destinations. Spend an extended day exploring the park by safari jeep, moving through forests, grasslands, lagoons and open plains in search of Sri Lanka's wildlife. You can also enjoy a home cooked Sri Lankan lunch near a small river stream. Depending on conditions and luck, you may encounter elephants, crocodiles, wild buffalo, spotted deer, wild boar, sloth bears and the park's famous leopards. Overnight at Yala.
From Wildlife to Tropical Coast
Yala-Mirissa

Leave the wildlife country behind and follow the southern coastline towards Mirissa. Stop at Coconut Tree Hill, one of the coast's most recognizable viewpoints, before continuing to Dalawella Turtle Beach. Guests can enjoy a relaxed snorkeling experience and, when conditions are suitable, observe sea turtles in their natural coastal environment. Finish the day relaxing around Mirissa Beach. Overnight at Mirissa.
Southern Coast & Into the Rainforest
Mirissa-Galle-Sinharaja

Continue west along the southern coastline. Stop around Koggala to see the famous traditional stilt-fishing culture, then visit a Turtle Conservation Centre. Continue towards the Galle area for Rumassala and Jungle Beach before turning inland towards the lush rainforest region of Sinharaja. The contrast is remarkable: within a single day, you move from tropical coastline to one of Sri Lanka's most important rainforest ecosystems. Overnight at Sinharaja rain forest
Into the Rainforest
Sinharaja

Spend the day exploring Sinharaja Forest Reserve with a knowledgeable local guide. Follow rainforest trails through dense vegetation while looking for endemic birds, reptiles, amphibians, insects and other forest wildlife. The experience continues after dark with an optional night walk, offering a completely different perspective of the rainforest. Overnight at Sinharaja Rain Forest.
Mangroves & Beach Life
Sinharaja-Bentota

Leave the rainforest behind and travel towards the western coast. Enjoy a peaceful Madu River boat safari, travelling through mangrove-lined waterways, small islands and traditional riverside communities. Guests can also experience the popular fish spa/river fish therapy before continuing to Bentota. The evening is left free for a relaxing walk or swim along Bentota Beach. Overnight at Bentota.
Local Life, Colombo & The Final Evening
Bentota-Colombo

Enjoy a final opportunity to explore Sri Lankan handicrafts and local products in Bentota. Browse traditional batik, handicrafts, gems and locally made treats before continuing towards Colombo. Depending on time, stop at Kande Viharaya Temple or Kalutara Bodhi along the way. Once in Colombo, explore a selection of the city's highlights including Pettah, Gangaramaya Temple, Lotus Tower, Galle Face Green and Port City. End the evening with a relaxing Beira Lake boat ride or some final shopping at One Galle Face Mall. Overnight at Colombo.
Colombo & Farewell
Colombo- Airport

Enjoy your final morning in Colombo before checking out. If your flight schedule allows, visit the National Museum of Colombo for a final look at Sri Lanka's long history and cultural heritage. Continue to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure.
